APEX Magazine app for iPhone and iPad

Apex is an iPad magazine created by eight Sailors in the U.S. Navy’s Advanced Navy Visual Journalism program at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. This magazine celebrates the culmination of their 10-month program to create advanced storytellers for the Navy. The program is the pinnacle of training for the enlisted Navy journalist, thus the name Apex. The stories in this document are some of the final stories created by these select Sailors and showcase the skills they’ve attained and the work they’ve produced during their journey through one of the nations foremost recognized programs for journalism and photography.
